Hayley Kiyoko "Expectations" Release Party At YouTube Space LA
On March 30, 2018, recording artist and actress Hayley Kiyoko released her debut major label studio album, Expectations. In celebration of this, an event was put on at YTSLA with Hayley to discuss her journey from releasing her first music video "Girls Like Girls" to releasing her first debut album.
We got the chance to be a part of the action by documenting the whole event on behalf of YTSLA. At the event, Hayley screened many of the music videos associated with her album and even brought out many of the supporting actresses that were featured in them.
all joined Hayley on stage to engage in an in-depth Q&A with their fans.
For this shoot, we had two stationary cameras capturing the events happening on the stage, one camera stationed on a jib capturing the room, and one roaming cam capturing the audience, making this a full four camera shoot.
We utilized the built in control room at YTSLA to color and switch between the different cameras. Check out the official edit on Hayley Kiyoko's Youtube channel showing all the excitement that surrounded the event.
